Background of 9F5a-hIgG1

The Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) protein is a member of the innate immune receptor of the TREM family. TREM2 is a single pass transmembrane protein with an IgG-like extracellular domain that signals through DNAX activation protein of 12 kDa (DAP12) to regulate microglial proliferation, survival, migration, phagocytosis, and production of inflammatory factors. TREM-2/DAP12 promotes upregulation of CC chemokine receptor 7, partial DC maturation, and DC survival through activation of protein tyrosine kinases and extracellular signal-regulated kinase.
