Background of JNJ372-EGFR-hIgG1

JNJ372-EGFR-hlgG1, a high affinity-specific humanized IgG1 antibody against EGFR.The Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) is frequently expressed at elevated levels in different forms of cancer and expression often correlates positively with cancer progression and poor prognosis. EGFR is responsible for the maintenance and functions of cancer stem cells (CSCs), including stemness, metabolism, immunomodulatory-activity, dormancy and therapy-resistance. In a variety of cancer cells, scientists have found high expression of EGFR.
