Background of MOR07692-hIgG1

MST1R (Macrophage-stimulating protein receptor), is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the tumor necrosis factor receptor family. Overactivation of MST1R in cancer is associated with tumorigenesis, progression, and metastasis. Studies have shown that MST1R is highly expressed in various tumors, including lung cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and others. Therefore, MST1R has emerged as a potential target for cancer therapy. Researchers are actively developing MST1R inhibitors to suppress its activity, thereby interfering with processes such as tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion.
