Background of 1452C11-mIgG2a

The 145-2C11 antibody is responsive to the 20 kDa CD3εsubunit present in the T cell receptor (TCR)/CD3 complex of mice. This subunit is found on the surface of mature T cells, NKT cells, and occasionally on thymocytes. Additionally, CD3 is expressed by a majority of T cell neoplasms. The CD3 complex consists of CD3 γ,δ,ε,η, andζsubunits, which assemble non-covalently with the TCR. This complex plays a crucial role in transmitting antigen recognition signals to the cytoplasm of T cells and regulates the expression of the TCR on the cell surface.
